KLS Martin and Lithoz: nearly 500 patient-specific bioceramic implants

1 min read

Patient-specific LithaBone TCP implants made with Lithoz LCM technology are now a standard ordering option on KLS Martin’s IPS Gate platform.

Patient-specific bioceramic implants require both controlled geometry and tailored porosity. In the KLS Martin and Lithoz collaboration, LithaBone TCP implants made with Lithoz LCM technology have become a standard option on the IPS Gate ordering platform.

The companies said in September that deliveries were approaching 500 implants by the end of the third quarter of 2026.

The important point is that additive manufacturing is no longer limited to prototyping here: digital design and ceramic processing are combined to produce individualized implants.
