Snapmaker Space: its own model platform enters open beta

Snapmaker has opened its model platform to the public with more than 2,500 models, building its own printable-model ecosystem.

Snapmaker Space has entered public beta with more than 2,500 models, creating a dedicated printable-content ecosystem around Snapmaker hardware.

Model platforms have become an important part of the major printer ecosystems because ready-to-print models and machine-specific profiles lower the barrier for users without CAD experience.

More integration ahead

The public beta currently focuses on discovering and printing models, with further machine and slicer integration expected as the platform develops.

LLNL: AI detects defects during 3D printing

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory is using camera-based AI inspection to analyze direct ink writing layer by layer and detect defects during the build.
